RICE CANYON-CHULA VISTA
Saturday, January 13,2018 @9:30am
On the scrub-covered slopes of Rice Canyon there are hardy coast cholla cacti. The California sagebrush plants coating the canyons exude a spicy fragrance in this peaceful canyon. The canyon is now part of Chula Vista Open Space Preserve. It is a well kept wide, flat trail except for one section of a slight upward climb. The preserve begins across the street from Discovery Park.
