Oberammergau Passion Play - Munich to Salzburg

In 1634, with the bubonic plague ravaging Europe, the people of the Bavarian town of Oberammergau pleaded with God, promising that they would perform a Passion Play — an artistic reenactment of the trial, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ — if they were spared from the plague. The number of deaths declined, and the Oberammergauers attributed this blessing to their bargain; ever since, the entire town has come together every 10 years to perform the elaborate play. Be a part of this centuries-old tradition in 2020.

If you’d like to make any changes to your order, call Road Scholar (RS)(800-322-5315 ). Depending on how close to the date of your original departure, you may have to pay a fee to help RS cover the costs of arrangements already made on your behalf. Each program on their website clearly states the terms if you need to cancel or transfer from your program.
Should you transfer or cancel, you will also be responsible for any penalties we would incur for non-refundable transportation arrangements made on your behalf.
