Join us for a 5 mile fairly level walk to include Marston Point, East Village, Library, Petco Park, Embarcadero, SD Bay and Little Italy. An eye opener will likely be a firsthand look at some of SD's homeless issue.
Meet a little before 9:00 AM at Marston Point at the south end of Balboa Drive in Balboa Park. Going south on 6th Avenue, turn left at Laurel Street and then turn right (south) at the 1st stop sign for Balboa Drive. Continue to the south end of Balboa Park to the Marston Point flagpole for parking. Bring water and sturdy walking/hiking shoes. Restrooms along the way.
