HIKE - Carmel Mountain Reserve
About this event
The Big Loop Trail in the Carmel Mountain Reserve is a 5.3 mile moderate hike with a 630 foot elevation gain. The varied terrain of this undiscovered area of Carmel Valley is very worthwhile. Meet at 9:30 at the entrance to the Ocean Air Recreation Center located at 4541 Shorepointe Way. Restrooms are available at the start and finish. Hike is on marked pathways with a few fairly steep rutted inclines. Good hiking boots are suggested. Poles recommended and plenty of fluids.
