Hike Description:
See a wide variety of plants representing coastal sage scrub, chaparral and riparian habitats. Observe seasonal wildflowers and birds on this relatively easy loop hike around the floor of Gonzalez Canyon.
The meeting spot is the Rest Room located at the park trailhead. There may be a couple of water crossings. Bring water and a snack. Poles not really necessary except on the ½ mile portion of the trail down into the canyon and back up.
