The Rockers are lucky to have member, Fred Shatsky, who is a docent for the USS Midway, offer to do one of his lecture presentations for our club.
The title of this presentation is "The Evolution of the USS Midway". He will discuss how the Midway evolved through 47 years of service as an active aircraft carrier to become, by Trip Advisor rating, the #1 attraction in San Diego, the most visited historic ship museum in the world, and the # 5 museum of the 35,000 museums of any type in the US.
