Eagle Rock Hike

Moderate 6.5 mile hike out to the amazing Eagle Rock Formation. The hike is along the Pacific Crest Trail where we are likely to meet up with a few through hikers headed to Canada. The trail meanders through open woodland, a riverine habitat and open grasslands. This is a very special hike in San Diego County.
Bring plenty of fluids, a snack, good hiking boots and poles are optional
Directions: Take CA – 79 toward Warner Springs and park across the road from the fire station located 2.5 miles north of the intersection of SR – 2 and Highway 79. There is a Community Center parking lot available. Porta Potties may be available. Carpools will be arranged.
