Description: One of my favorite hikes in SD County. Experience Chaparral, Coastal Sage Scrub, Riparian, Lake and Oak Woodland habitats on this moderate 5 mile hike through the Blue Sky Reserve and around pretty Lake Poway.
Poles recommended, good hiking shoes, bring a snack and plenty of water. Restrooms available at the beginning and several locations along the trail.
Location: Parking lot located at this GPS address: 16275 Espola Rd, Poway, CA 92064. Exit I – 15 at Rancho Bernardo Road and go east for 2 ½ miles. Blue Sky parking lot is on the left side of the road
