Beautiful mountain hike with views toward the coast, 3 lakes, meadows, wildlife and a mature pine forest. 5- mile moderate hike at 6000 feet altitude.
Good hiking boots, plenty of fluids, hiking poles not necessary. Porta Potty at the start and end.
Possible lunch afterwards at the Pine House Cafe in Mount Laguna

Trailhead located at mile marker 19.1 on the Sunrise Highway. Park off the roadway
