Another hidden gem hike in the middle of suburbia. The 5-mile Copper Creek Loop Hike is a moderate to slightly strenuous hike with 600 vertical feet of elevation in the 1st mile up to the Denk Mountain Summit Overlook. Easier switchbacks coming down to the Creek Nature Trail. Great views at the top and along the way and the trail finishes in the shade along Copper Creek.  We will also see the remains from the copper mining days in the late 1800s. The trail will be rocky and somewhat rutted in a few places, so poles and hiking boots are highly recommended.
