About this event

Otay Landfill is becoming a comprehensive sustainability center that will provide safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible recycling and composting solutions for the community. Republic’s investment in South County will exceed $50 million at the Otay Landfill to support sustainable initiatives for our future.  Located near Chula Vista, the Landfill is permitted to handle approximately 6,700 tons of waste per day, or 1.8 million tons annually.

The tour will be in a 15 seat passenger van. Parking is free.
