San Diego's LDS temple opens to the public for the first time in 33 years this summer

We welcome everyone to come learn about the temple. This includes members of the Church, members of the community, and anyone who just wants to see what a temple is about.

Temples are sacred buildings designed to help God’s children feel close to Him and His Son, Jesus Christ. Once the temple is dedicated, entrance is reserved for members of the Church. This open house is a unique opportunity for everyone to tour this sacred house of the Lord and enjoy the beautiful grounds.

 We suggest business casual clothing and comfortable shoes, as the tour through the temple is a walking tour.

Please refrain from taking photos or videos inside the temple.

Peggy Crane reserved tickets for the Rockers. Please meet in front of the Temple by 10:30am to pick up your ticket. Our entrance time is 10:50am.

Limited parking is available onsite at the temple and in nearby walkable lots. Additional offsite parking is available at 4655 Executive Drive, San Diego, CA (entrance off Judicial Drive) with shuttles departing for the temple from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Because parking is limited on and off site, we ask guests to carpool with 4+ people per car, if possible.
