About this event
The GIA Museum in Carlsbad, California introduces visitors to the vast and vibrant world of gems and jewelry. Our exhibits, spread throughout the campus, display the science and beauty of gems, minerals, and jewelry.
The GOYR tour begins at 11:00am sharp
- We'd like our tour guests to arrive 15 minutes early so they can be checked in by our security officers.
- We understand that delays can happen. Visitors are given a 15-minute grace period. If for any reason they arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled tour start time, we kindly ask that they contact Visitor Experience to reschedule their tour.
- All names must be submitted 2 weeks prior so all sign ups and cancellations must be done by August 19, 2026.

All guests of GIA are required:
- To present a physical valid Government issued photo ID to enter campus.
- To check in with Security at both the vehicle entrance gate and reception desk located in the Atrium.
- To wear their visitor badge and it must be visible at all times while on campus.
- To be accompanied by their host or designated staff member at all times.
When you arrive:
- Pull over to the right into the security area to check in.
- Drivers must have a physical valid Government issued photo ID.
- All guests over the age of 18 must have a physical valid Government issued photo ID.
