Balboa Park - Japanese Garden
We will be birding the Central Mesa of Balboa Park with a focus on the Specialty Gardens. We will visit the Cactus Garden, Palm Canyon, Alcazar Garden, the Desert Garden, the Rose Garden and the Butterfly Garden. The route is pretty flat with a combination of dirt and paved trails. We will meet in front of the Japanese Garden. Parking is in the Organ Pavillion Lot.
Please join us to support the Food Bank for the morning shift. 3rd Wednesday of every month!
Remember to SIGN UP WITH THE FOOD BANK VOLUNTEER PROGRAM as a member of the "goyr1" group.
Once you have signed up, be sure to sign up on our GOYR website.
We can bring 30 members! And if you want to add your friends, just make sure they sign up on the Food Bank website first as part of "goyr1". Then add them to our list.

Escondido Transit Center (750 W. Valley Parkway) to Buena Creek Train Station in Vista and back
We will be going sailing on Tuesday, July 30 at Seaforth Boat Rentals,1715 Strand Way, Coronado, 92118 from 11:30 until 2:00. The cost is $25 for two hours of sun and fun. Please bring a hat, light jacket, sun block, water and sun glasses. We will have experienced captains in charge of each boat. Payment will be through the Rocker website. There are no cancellations due to the cost of renting the boats.
