Free - Coronado Promenade Concert on Sunday, August 25 in Spreckels Park with BETAMAXX. Ultra-high energy 80’s music, BETAMAXX delivers a non-stop, nostalgia-filled rock concert that keeps the dance floor packed from beginning to end. From the pop of Michael Jackson and Madonna to the New Wave of New Order & Depeche Mode to the Rock of Def Leppard and Bon Jovi.
Show starts at 5:00pm. We may arrive any time in the afternoon to relax and enjoy the day. Rockers should plan to meet near the corner of C Avenue and Sixth Street. We will try to save an area near one of the picnic tables close to Sixth. Bob and Linda Duggan will arrive around 3pm to save an area. Bring your own food, beverage of choice (alcohol is allowed) and lawn chairs. No barbecues. No dogs. Parking on the street can be a challenge. Come early to find a spot.
