HIKE Boulder Loop @ Daley Ranch Escondido

The 4.5 mile moderate Boulder Loop Trail will give you an introduction into the wonderful Daley Ranch Open Space in Escondido that has over 20 miles of hiking trails. We will gradually walk up about 750 feet on asphalt and gravel roads for some good views and then down to the restored ranch house before returning to our cars.

Trailhead and parking are located at the terminus of La Honda Road 1.3 miles north of the intersection with El Norte Parkway in Escondido. Take
I - 15 north to El Norte Parkway and go east for 3.1 miles to La Honda. 

Good restrooms are at the beginning/end and in the middle. Good traction hiking boots, poles and plenty of water will make this hike more enjoyable.
