Registration is required
For guitar players, an acoustic guitar is required, as an amplified (electric) guitar would be far too loud. If bringing an acoustic/electric guitar, please play “acoustically”, i.e., un-amplified.
Bring a music stand with you, as you’ll want to have the “songbook” placed in your line of sight.

The best way to improve your musical skills is to play with a group. So, if you like to sing (not required), have a string instrument or keyboard, and know at least two chords, you are ready to join the Rockin Rockers!
Here is how it works: Using a three-ring binder (“songbook”) containing dozens of songs with their chords and lyrics printed out, we sing and play simple songs of a few chords each. When you see a chord you know, play it. If you don't know the chord, skip it (for reference, the songbook also has a printed chord chart). You will thrive on the energy of the group and will want to learn another chord and, over a few sessions, your playing will improve.
If you already know how to play, come strum your heart out, enjoy the camaraderie and provide encouragement to the newcomers.
If you only want to sing and not play, come and enjoy singing with the group. It would be wonderful if someone with a good singing voice could come and try to keep us in tune.
