About this event
We will meet at the entrance to the Kumeyaay Lake Campground at Mission Trails Regional Park. The lake and the surrounding habitats provide a good variety of birds. To get to the campground take Highway 52 to Mast Boulevard. Go east on Mast Bl.to West Hills Parkway. Take a right on West Hills Parkway and go south until you reach Mission Gorge Rd. Take a right on Mission Gorge Rd. and another quick right on Father Junipero Serra Trail. Follow Junipero Serra Trail to Bushy Hill Dr. and the campground is on the right. There is a parking lot on the left or you can park along the street. Please bring binoculars and good walking shoes.
